Three Venus conjunctions to Saturn characterize this Venus cycle.(July 1,
August 13 and October 14, 2007). Security, stability and commitment in
relationships is a theme. Participation in significant social rituals or
obligations. We are dealing with our idealized desires and evaluating what
is worthwhile and of value in our lives. Issues involve integrity in
relationships, deepening connections with others, discovering the shadow
behind our ideals and transforming our perceptions and our desires.


This cycle is a good time to evaluate financial responsibilities, payoff and
consolidate debts. Re-negotiate contracts. Uproot self-doubt, organize and
finish creative projects. Renew devotion to creative work.


Venus also revisits an opposition to Neptune (consider June 29-30, August 25
and September 21, 2007). Many are experiencing a heightened state of
anxiety. Look to feelings of disconnection/dissatisfaction within
relatedness and see where it points you to rekindle a fiery passion within
your creative expression. Beneath the veneer of boredom, apathy, timidity,
indecision and insecurity is life-force, vitality and passion fighting to
emerge. Angry? It is time to reclaim lost aspects of yourself. Do not hold
your dreams hostage. Clarify and apply your heart's desire.


We are trimming and reweaving the loose ends of the recent Saturn Neptune
opposition (August 2006-June 2007). This is a very rich time for each one of
us personally and collectively. There is a tendency to feel disoriented
with all the rapid changes. We can support ourselves by listening to our
bodies for what nourishing foods we need to eat, sleeping, exercise, playing
and laughing. Gratitude and allowing life.

 
July 27 - Venus retrograde in Virgo.

 
August 8 - Venus returns to Leo to review and renew playful creativity,
courage and heartfire. We are retrieving an important piece of our hearts to
bring forth into the practicality and work of the days ahead when Venus
emerges from the retrograde and into Virgo. Beauty and economy. "Green"
Venus.

 
August 17-18 Venus conjuncts Sun and begins a new phase of awareness.
Radiant confidence and self love, leadership, generosity and creative
self-expression are empowered.. A significant turning point.

 
August 29 - Venus rises as a morning star and is considered to be extremely
potent. This is when we will really see where we are and what's ahead.
 
September 8 - Venus direct.
 

October 7 - Venus moves forward into Virgo. Skillful service, thoughtful
sincerity, dedication to work and attention to detail and practicality is
evidenced anew.


~ Venusian Contemplations ~
Eight years ago Venus was retrograde in almost exactly the same place in the
sky: July 30 - September 11, 1999. What endings and beginnings occurred
during that time - especially within relatedness, love, creativity, values
and money?

 
Although Venus will turn retrograde on July 27 and then direct on September
8, the "zone" encompasses June 23, 2007 - October 12, 2007 Look at the
developments in the past three weeks for clues as to your personal themes
and areas of transformation.
